Pacquiao to hold senator who allegedly intervened in Marcos Jr. DQ case accountable

Presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao on Saturday vowed to hold a senator who allegedly intervened in the resolution of the disqualification case against presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. accountable for the interference.

Pacquiao, chairman of the chamber’s Committee on Ethics, said he would take immediate action if complaints were filed against the unnamed senator.

Asked if he received a complaint on the senator, Pacquiao said “Wala pa naman, intayin na lang po natin yung sasabihin nila kung sino yun.”

(Not yet. Let us just wait for them to say who it is)

Retired Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon earlier claimed that a senator may be behind the delay in the release of the decision on Marcos’ disqualification case.

Guanzon dropped more hints about the senator, saying he is married, from Davao and had voted for Ferolino’s confirmation at the Commission on Appointments.

Recently, Sotto confirmed that he knew which senator allegedly intervened in the consolidated disqualification cases against Marcos. — DVM, GMA News
