Three lotto winners yet to claim millions, says PCSO
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said three lucky lotto winners have yet to claim their millions in prizes, according to Mariz Umali’s “24 Oras” report on Tuesday.
The PCSO said two winners from Batangas City and Muntinlupa City won the jackpot prize worth P36,830,471 for the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw last July 26, 2021. Their winning combination was 34 – 40 – 8 – 24 – 36 – 30.
Meanwhile, a solo winner from Baguio City won a jackpot prize worth P62,756,225 for the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw last February 18, 2022. The winning combination was 31 – 30 – 6 – 4 – 29 – 16.
“Kami po ay nanawagan sa inyo. I-claim po ninyo nang maaga ang inyong mga prizes. Gusto po namin maibigay na po sa mga winners ang mga prizes,” Arnel Casas, PCSO OIC GM Assistant Manager of Management Services Sector, said.
(We appealed to the winners to please claim your prizes. We want to give the prizes to the winners.)
According to PCSO, the winners have one year to claim their prizes. If it will not be claimed, their cash prizes will be forfeited and automatically delivered to charity works of PCSO.
The winners must present two valid IDs and the lotto ticket with winning combination numbers.
Asked what will happen if the person loses the winning lotto ticket, “Sorry to say wala na po silang chance to claim the prize. Kailangan mavalidate ng machine, ng system yung ticket. So kailangan po talagang ipresent ‘yon. Kaya tinatawag po namin na ‘yan ang passport nila sa millions,” Casas said.
