Legarda still on top in latest OCTA senatorial survey

Antique Representative Loren Legarda remained at the top of the senatorial preference survey conducted by OCTA Research from March 5 to 10, 2022.

OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David posted on Twitter the results of the privately commissioned survey showing Legarda leading with a 69% score.

She was followed by former Public Works secretary Mark Villar with 66%, re-electionist Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri with 65%, Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero with 63%, and broadcaster Raffy Tulfo with 62%.

At sixth spot was Taguig City Representative Alan Peter Cayetano with 55%, followed by former senator JV Ejercito with 44%, actor Robin Padilla with 44%, former Vice President Jejomar Binay with 39%, re-electionist Senator Sherwin Gatchalian with 39%, and former senator Jinggoy Estrada with 37%.

Re-electionist Senator Joel Villanueva, who was outside the Top 12 in OCTA’s February survey, took the 12th spot with 33%.

With a 31% score, re-electionist Senator Risa Hontiveros dropped to 13th spot.

The survey was conducted by asking 1,200 respondents whom they will vote for in the senatorial elections based on the list of candidates presented to them. They were also allowed to give names that were not on the list. —KBK, GMA News
