Sara Duterte's spox, Frasco, to head DOT

Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco was picked by President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to be the next chief of the Department of Tourism (DOT).

This was announced by incoming Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles.

Frasco has been serving spokesperson of Vice President-elect Sara Duterte since July 2021, when the latter was still Davao City mayor.

In the last elections, she won her third and last term as Liloan town mayor.  Her husband, Duke, was also reelected as representative of Cebu's 5th District.

Broadcaster Erwin Tulfo will head the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Other appointees include Naida Angping for the Presidential Management Staff, Amenah Pangandaman for the Department of Budget and Management, and Atty. John Ivan Enrile Uy for the Department of Information and Communications Technology.—LDF, GMA News
