Ex-PCGG exec Reynold Munsayac is VP-elect Sara Duterte’s new spox

Attorney Reynold Munsayac will replace incoming Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco as the spokesperson of Vice President-elect Sara Duterte.

On Tuesday, the Duterte camp said the Vice President-elect and Munsayac were classmates in the law school. Munsayac also assisted Duterte in the establishment of the Tapang at Malasakit in 2017.

It was in 2021 when Munsayac resigned as commissioner and acting chairman of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) to help in the campaign for Duterte.

Meanwhile, Duterte expressed gratitude to Frasco for her "help in the timely and effective communication of her messages to the Filipinos through the media."

"She was committed to the truthful dissemination of information, and her duty as the spokesperson was marked with intelligence and grace," the camp said.

"Inday Sara wishes the incoming Secretary of the Department of Tourism Frasco all the best in her new role in nation building," it added. — RSJ, GMA News
