Marcos arrives in Malacañang for last meeting with Duterte before oath-taking


President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has arrived in Malacañang for his courtesy call on outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte before he formally assumes the presidency.

Marcos arrived in Malacañang past 10 a.m. and was personally welcomed by Duterte.

After their short meeting, Duterte was given departure honors witnessed by his Cabinet officials. He is set to fly to Davao City, his hometown, after the ceremony.

Meanwhile, from Malacañang, Marcos will proceed to the National Museum of Fine Arts where he is scheduled to take his oath as the 17th president of the Philippines at around noontime. KBK, GMA News
