Ex-President Duterte gets surprise visit from Arroyo

Former President and Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo surprised former President Rodrigo Duterte with a visit to his residence in Davao City.

According to a "24 Oras" report, Arroyo was in the city to attend a birthday party of a close friend. She then took the opportunity to meet with with Duterte.

The visit lasted for about an hour, the report quoting a source said.

In June this year, Arroyo took her oath of office before Duterte in Malacanang, days before the latter ended his term.

Duterte's daughter, Vice President Sara Duterte, ran under the party led by Arroyo, Lakas-CMD.—Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA News
