Marcos to visit Singapore, Indonesia next month

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will visit Indonesia and Singapore  next month, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said on Friday.

"Iko-confirm ko rin lang po 'yung dalawang state visit, to Indonesia at saka to Singapore. Itong September 4-6 sa Indonesia at 6-7 sa Singapore. Kung may katanungan dito, actually wala pa tayong masyadong detalye pero kino-confirm namin na tuloy po ito," Cruz-Angeles said.

Indonesia and Singapore are the first official state visits of Marcos as Philippine president.

Meanwhile, Cruz-Angeles also said Marcos' visit to the United States is being worked out. The President is expected to attend and speak at the United Nations General Assembly.

"As for the United States, for the visit doon sa US, it's still being worked out although nagsabi ang Pangulo that he will be going. We will release the details on this as they come in," she said. — RSJ, GMA News
