Southwestern University grad tops October 2022 optometrist licensure exam

A graduate of Southwestern University was the top scorer in the optometrist licensure examination given last month.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 179 out of 285 test takers passed the examination given by the Board of Optometry in Manila last month.

Giuseppe Roy Cabatic Campilan took the top spot with a score of 89.83%, while his alma mater Southwestern was also the top performing school with 50 or more examinees, with a passing rate of 85.53% or 65 of 76 test takers.

Meanwhile, 12 out of 14 test takers passed the special certification examination in ocular pharmacology for optometrists. They are:
