CA panel suspends hearing on Lotilla's appointment as DOE chief

A Commission on Appointmens committee suspended the deliberations on the ad interim appointment of Raphael Lotilla as Energy Secretary due to lack of material time.

Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito motioned that the hearing be suspended due to time constraints.

"On the motion of the (assistant) majority leader (Sen. Ejercito), we suspend the deliberation on the ad interim appointment of Raphael Lotilla, secretary, Department of Energy, to resume until further notice,” Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda, chairperson of the CA committee on energy, said.

Before suspending the hearing, Legarda said several members of the CA panel still wished to ask Lotilla questions regarding his appointment. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
