GMA wins Outstanding Television Network Award at 26th National Press Congress

Leading broadcast company GMA Network Inc. took  home another achievement after it bagged the Outstanding Television Network Award at the 26th National Press Congress of the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI).

GMA News pillar and veteran journalist Howie Severino received the recognition on behalf of the network, GMA’s Cyril Chavez said in a tweet.  The ceremony was held at the Pearlmont Hotel in Cagayan De Oro City.

According to PAPI, the award was conferred to the media company “to recognize the network’s dedication to serve high-class journalism for our country”.

It also recognized GMA's “commitment to serve Filipino people with honest dissemination of information and news” in line with its slogan “Serbisyong Totoo”.
