Additional sites have been set up at Robinson’s Mall Tacloban, Barangay Baras Baras, Tacloban City; SM City Legazpi, Imelda Roces Avenue, Zone 9, Barangay 37 Bitano, Legazpi City, Albay; and Robinson’s Mall Naga, Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said the project will then be conducted every Saturday and Sunday from December 17 until January 22, 2023.

No registration will be held on December 24, 25, 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023.

Laudiangco said RAP will also be conducted in government sites such as Senate of the Philippines in Pasay City on January 25, 2023; House of Representatives in Quezon City with exact date/s to be determined, and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Main Office in Pasay City with exact date/s to be determined.

Applicants must submit their application form, documentary requirements, and have their biometrics taken on-site, Laudiangco said.

The submitted documents and captured biometrics data shall be endorsed and transmitted by the recipient RAP teams to the Office of Election Officer of the district, city, municipality having jurisdiction over the residence of the applicant for the requisite verification, publication, posting, and Election Registration Board (ERB) Hearing.

He said the project’s operational plan was approved by the en banc on October 26.

Meanwhile, Laudiangco said the continuing registration of voters would take place from December 12, 2022, to January 31, 2023, except December 24 and 31.

He said registration will be from Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in all Comelec offices nationwide.

“Sa mga lugar na may nakapartner na mga piling pangunahing malls ang Comelec, magsasagawa ng Off-Site Mall Registrations tuwing Huwebes, Biyernes at Sabado,” he said.

Laudiangco said all types of applications will be accepted such as new voter, transfer, reactivation, and reinstatement. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
