VP Sara rated ‘excellent’ in December 2022 SWS satisfaction survey


The Social Weather Stations (SWS) net satisfaction survey taken in December 2022 showed that Vice President Sara Duterte had a +77 or “excellent” net satisfaction rating.

According to the survey, 84% of Filipinos were satisfied with Duterte's performance while 5% of respondents were dissatisfied.

Her rating was highest in Mindanao at +96, followed by the Visayas at +74, Metro Manila at +73, and Balance Luzon at +71.

In the October 2022 survey, Duterte was rated +88 in Mindanao, +71 in the Visayas, +68 in Metro Manila, and +68 in Balance Luzon.

Meanwhile, her net satisfaction was also “excellent” in both rural (+81) and urban (+74) areas, across all basic demographics (ranging from +74 to +80), except among college graduates among whom she scored a “very good” +66.

The December 2022 SWS survey also found that Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri (+47) and Speaker Martin Romualdez (+37) were both rated “good.”

Some 58% of respondents said they were satisfied with Zubiri while 10% said they were dissatisfied.

Meanwhile, 49% said they were satisfied with Romualdez while 12% were dissatisfied.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, on the other hand, got a “moderate” rating at +24, with 37% of respondents satisfied and 13% dissatisfied.

The SWS poll was taken from December 10 to December 14, 2022 using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide.

The survey had sampling error margins of ±2.8% for national percentages, and ±5.7% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. —DVM, GMA Integrated News
