The chief of the Police Regional Office - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-BARMM) has been relieved from his post and has been arrested for syndicated estafa.
CIDG public information officer chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Marissa Bruno said the warrant of arrest was served on PRO-BARMM chief Brigadier General John Guyguyon.
Guyguyon was also relieved from his post as PRO-BARMM chief.
Asked about the matter, Guyguyon told GMA News Online that he “had no hand in any collection or whatsoever.”
“Nadamay lang bilang incorporator. I had no hand in any collection or whatsoever. This is not work related and I assure you po na wala tayong inagrabyado na tao. Matatapos din to,” he said in a message.
(I was just dragged into this because I am the incorporator. I had no hand in any collection or whatsoever. This is not work related and I assure you that I did not aggrieve anyone. This will end too.) —NB, GMA Integrated News
