Five employees of the Philippine National Police's Health Service are currently under investigation after issues were found in the neuropsychiatric examinations for 377 gun license applications.

According to a "24 Oras" report on Tuesday, the PNP Civil Security Group also found that 64 out of the 377 applicants weren’t even present during their exam.

The applicants were allegedly asked for as much as P35,000 to not have to appear for the exam.

The PNP did not identify the personnel under investigation. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/BM, GMA Integrated News
