‘The Atom Araullo Specials: Mata sa Dilim’ named Best Documentary in ContentAsia Awards 2023

“The Atom Araullo Specials: Mata sa Dilim” has been named the Best Current Affairs Program Made in Asia for Regional Asia and/or International Markets at the ContentAsia Awards in Bangkok.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, GMA Public Affairs shared the wonderful news.

“Mga Kapuso, ikinagagalak po naming ibalita na muling nakilala sa labas ng bansa Ang ‘The Atom Araullo Specials: Mata sa Dilim’!” it wrote in the caption.

“Maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta!” it added.

Executive Producer Ian Simbulan received the award on behalf of his other program team members: Atom Araullo, Izza Bermudez, Angelie Rose Dela Rosa, Nissreen Marie Dionido Caparas, Chell Equiron, Patrick Vindel Dayao Cruz, Tina Aure, Mariza Barral, Andrea Lynne Reposo, Aaron Papins Mendoza, VM Rodriguez, Emil Valerio Palon, Mark Ledesma, Karl Anthony Camila, Jaymee Manahan-Bulaong, Rochelle Senaida, Vianca Vega Marasigan, Elisha Manas, and Gale Cañoneo Paris.

In April, the documentary also bagged the gold world medal at the New York Festivals.
