CSC calls on the public, govt agencies to sign up for online job fair

The Civil Service Commission called on the public and government agencies to join the CSC’s September 18 to 22 online job fair, organized in partnership with Jobstreet.com.

CSC Commissioner Aileen Lizada said the online job fair marked the CSC’s 123rd anniversary.

“For job seekers, we have a virtual platform withJobStreet.com. You need to have a JobStreet.com account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up [for an account] for free. You just need to visit JobStree.com, then click the free sign up icon, then proceed to our browser (website), csc.gov.ph,” Lizada said during the public briefing.

“You will then be redirected to a landing page where you can download a PDS (Personal Data Sheet), accomplish the form, and upload it again. Then you will see different government agencies participating in the job fair, you will see the available position, and you can submit your PDS there,” Lizada added.

Lizada said additional requirements may be needed for submission if the potential employer is interested in hiring the applicant.

“If they intend to hire you, they (government agencies) will be the one who will reach out to you via your email address,” Lizada said.

“This call is also for the government agencies who are having a hard time filling up positions. You can visit our website or our regional offices to get instructions on how you can participate because you will also be provided training for smooth implementation of this program," she added. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
