One of the suspects who were caught on camera robbing two content creators earlier this week has been arrested by the Pasig City police.

According to Emil Sumangil's report on "24 Oras," the suspect identified as Robin Bilbao of Barangay Pinagbuhatan was subjected to a surveillance and was arrested at a checkpoint.

Police confiscated a grenade from his possession.

“Walang plaka yung motor niya, at nung ama siyang kukunin yung wallet niya, nakitaan natin siya in plain view ng granada. Siguro, mambibilktima na naman ulit ito,” Pasig City chief of police Police Colonel Celerino Sacro Jr. said.

The victims confirmed that Bilbao was the one who took part in the robbery.

They said Bilbao apologized and said that the bag containing the equipment would be returned.

The victims said they would pursue the case against the suspect.

The other suspect remains at large.

Bilbao is said to have four ongoing cases of robbery and will also be facing charges for violating COMELEC’s election gun ban.

“Sa possession pa lang ng explosives no bail na po ito, mayroon pa siyang kahaharapin na kaso in connection with COMELEC gun ban,” Sacro said.

The motorcycle-riding suspects took the victims' bag containing cameras and other equipment on Vargas Bridge while they were shooting a music video.

The crime, however, was caught on video which was later posted on social media.

Persons on social media then commented on the post identifying at least one of the suspects and where they could be located. —Jiselle Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
