NBI seizes P9 million in fake LEGO products in Manila

The National Bureau of Investigation seized P9 million worth of counterfeit Lego products in an operation on October 24.

According to a Tuesday statement, the NBI National Capital Region division implemented nine search warrants against a toy store in Manila.

Discovered and confiscated in the search were 1,906 boxes containing various models and sizes of fake LEGO products.

The owner of the company and a trading company will face charges for Trademark Infringement, Copyright Infringement, and Unfair Competition under Republic Act 8293 or the Intellectual Property Act. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
