PhilHealth to increase coverage of benefit packages in 2024

State health insurer Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has announced it will increase the rate of its benefit packages in 2024.

In a report on “24 Oras,” PhilHealth said members can expect an increase of up to 30% in all of its coverage in all case rates starting next year.

This means lesser out-of-pocket expenses for Filipinos availing of health care services using PhilHealth.

"With the adjustment on the benefit packages, PhilHealth members can expect a maximum 30% increase in all case rates during hospitalization as well as outpatient care, particularly in higher-level,” the agency said.
