Ex-Pres. Duterte, Rep. Castro supporters confront each other at prosecutor's office

Supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte and House Deputy Minority Leader France Castro had a shouting match outside the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office on Friday amid the hearing on the grave threat complaint filed by Castro against Duterte.

Duterte’s supporters, who wore green t-shirts printed with the faces of Duterte and his daughter Vice President Sara Duterte, chanted their support at Castro’s, supporters who were outnumbered, but who nevertheless responded in kind.

They also brought a tarpaulin that read: Support Sara, Protect Sara.

Castro’s backers, on the other hand, chanted against Duterte, and then resorted to blowing whistles and ringing bells to drown out the Duterte supporters. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
