PCO warns vs. fake ‘walang pasok’ announcement

The Presidential Communications Office on Sunday warned Filipinos not to believe a fake "walang pasok" announcement that has apparently been making the rounds.

The image, bearing the PCO and Bagong Pilipinas logos, says, "Work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are suspended on 28–31 October 2024."

In a statement, the PCO urged the public to follow announcements only from official government pages. "The Presidential Communications Office and the Office of the Executive Secretary have not issued work and class suspensions for October 28–31, 2024," it said. — BM, GMA Integrated News
