Marcos meets House members in Palace for 'scheduled fellowship'

The Presidential Communications Office on Wednesday said President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. met with some House lawmakers in Malacanang.

“The gathering is meant to be a fellowship between the Office of the President and members of the House of Representatives which was already scheduled some time ago,” the PCO said. 

“The event is for close in coverage only,” he added. 

No other detail has been provided yet by the PCO. 

The said gathering happened in the midst of impeachment complaints being filed against Vice President Sara Duterte. 

Marcos earlier said he would not support any impeachment complaint against Duterte.
