Japanese National Security Adviser Akiba pays courtesy call on Marcos

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday welcomed Japanese National Security Adviser Akiba Takeo during a courtesy call in Malacañang. 

Marcos gifted the Japanese official with a token and a birthday cake as it was Akiba's 65th birthday. 

“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. welcomes Mr. Akiba Takeo, National Security Adviser of Japan, during a courtesy call on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Study Room, Malacañan Palace, Manila,” the Presidential Communications Office said.

“During the meeting the President presented a token and a birthday cake to Akiba Takeo who celebrates his 65th birthday today,” the PCO added. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
