Over P20M worth of ‘shabu’ seized, 3 suspects nabbed in Samar —PDEA
Three kilograms of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P20.4 million were seized in Barangay Mahayag, Catbalogan City, Samar on Monday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Tuesday.
In a statement, PDEA added that three suspects identified as alias Noel, Paul, and Matt were arrested.
Aside from the suspected shabu, PDEA said various drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the suspects.
The suspects will be facing charges for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Among the law enforcement agencies involved in the operation were Western Samar Provincial Patrol, Catbalogan City Police Station-Drug Enforcement Team, Samar Provincial Explosive Ordinance and K9 Unit, Philippin Coast Guard K9 Explosive Ordinance Disposal, and PDEA VIII-Samar Provincial Office. —Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
