MMDA employees arrested for operating colorum vehicle

A couple working as employees of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) was arrested for driving a colorum vehicle. 

According to Glenn Juego’s report in Super Radyo dzBB, the Department of Transportation - Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (DOTr-SAICT) caught the couple during their colorum operation at Bacoor, Cavite en route to Baclaran.

The couple tried to negotiate with the Transportation officials, but the latter decided to impound their van.

Investigation by the DOTr-SAICT found that the couple have been operating their colorum van for a long time. 

The MMDA also informed the DOTr-SAICT that it is also conducting a separate investigation on the two, the report said.
