PCSO introduces 'LottoMatik' to expand lottery accessibility
In a move to increase lotto sales and strengthen funding for government charitable programs, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has partnered with DFNN to launch 'LottoMatik,' a portable point-of-sale (PoS) device designed to make lottery participation more accessible.
With LottoMatik, purchasing lotto tickets becomes simpler and more convenient, offering a seamless experience for users.
The system enables small businesses and individuals to sell PCSO lottery tickets, thus providing new entrepreneurial opportunities while integrating modern technology into the business landscape.
The innovative device allows bets to be placed using a compact PoS system, facilitating ticket sales even in locations with limited space. This expanded accessibility ensures that more Filipinos can participate in the lottery, which supports various social welfare and health programs of the government.
Launched on November 8, 2024, DFNN's LottoMatik brand became one of PCSO's corporate authorized agents for its lotto offerings.
The primary objective of LottoMatik is to reach areas currently lacking lotto outlets, making lottery participation more convenient while promoting legitimate gaming practices.
By increasing accessibility, LottoMatik also aims to curb illegal lottery operations, helping to protect government revenue streams dedicated to public welfare initiatives.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles emphasized the significance of this project, "LottoMatik represents a significant step forward in making lottery participation accessible to every Filipino. By leveraging technology, we are not just offering a chance to win but also a chance to contribute to community welfare."
Through this partnership, DFNN and the PCSO are reshaping the lottery industry with innovation and inclusivity, ensuring that more Filipinos can engage in charity-driven gaming.
