BPI: Interbank transfer fee reduced to P10 from March 7 to May 31, 2025

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) announced Friday it is reducing its interbank transfer fee for nearly two months to make digital transactions more convenient and affordable to customers.

In an advisory, BPI said it slashed its InstaPay interbank fund transfer fee to P10 per transaction from P25.

The lowered fee took effect on March 7, 2025 and will be effective until May 31, 2025.

"By lowering the fee, BPI aims to make fund transfers even more accessible and cost-effective, encouraging more customers to embrace the ease and convenience of digital banking," the Ayala-led bank said.

"To further enhance the digital banking experience, BPI is integrating InstaPay, enabling real-time, 24/7 fund transfers across platforms like GCash and Maya. With this seamless integration, customers can transfer funds quickly, securely, and effortlessly," it said.

The bank said its customers can take advantage of the reduced fee via the BPI mobile app or online banking platform. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
