Paul Mercado named DICT OIC

Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for Special Concerns Paul Mercado has been named officer-in-charge of the department, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said Monday.

This came after Ivan John Uy resigned as DICT chief last week. The reason for Uy quitting his post has not been disclosed. 

Earlier, the agency vowed that there would be no disruption in its services following Uy’s resignation. — BM, GMA Integrated News
