UPCAT 2026 applicants advised to refrain from withdrawing applications

Applicants for the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) 2026 were reminded by the University of the Philippines not to withdraw their applications if they provided any inaccurate information.

“Applicants who withdraw their application will not be allowed to apply again and take the UPCAT this year,” said UP in an advisory on Monday.

“Do not withdraw your application if you entered incorrect information (e.g., email address, name, school, birthdate),” it added.

The university said that should there be any incorrect information, applicants can reach out to the helpdesk: https://bit.ly/upcat2026onlinehelpdesk.

UPCAT 2026 applications officially started on March 3 and will run until March 31.

It is open to Grade 11 students currently enrolled in School Year 2024-2025 and Grade 12 students who have not taken the entrance exam in the previous cycles.

The state university said Grade 11 applicants must have their schools confirm their eligibility in the Form 2A online portal by April 4 and complete their grade submission from August 4 to 25.

UPCAT will be administered from August 2 to 3 in 116 testing centers nationwide. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/VBL, GMA Integrated News
