PNP placed on heightened alert in wake of Duterte arrest

The Philippine National Police has placed its regional offices and national support units on heightened alert effective Tuesday night.

This measure comes after concerns about potential civil unrest, rallies, and mass actions following the recent arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
