Comelec prints 37 million voter info sheets

The Commission on Elections has completed printing over half of the 68 million voter information sheets (VIS) required for Eleksyon 2025.
Comelec Chairperson George Garcia announced on Friday that as of March 14, approximately 55%—or 37 million VIS—had been printed at the National Printing Office's satellite facility in Meycauayan, Bulacan. Of these, 21% have been verified.
(As of now, we've printed 55% of our total requirement, equivalent to 37,404,000 copies.)
He added that the Comelec aims to complete the entire printing process by March 24.
Some verified VIS have already been shipped to four regions for distribution. Garcia clarified that each city and municipality will have customized VIS versions, reflecting local candidates running for office.
(We used to print VIS by region, but we've centralized the process to make it faster and more accurate.)
A VIS includes the voter's name and address, instructions on how to vote, and a list of national and local candidates, along with 155 party-lists for the 2025 national and local elections.
Distribution is set to begin from April 1 until April 30.
Garcia emphasized that Comelec personnel—not barangay officials—will directly distribute the VIS to ensure neutrality and avoid political influence.
(Our staff will handle distribution to avoid concerns about political interference. While we respect our barangay officials, this step ensures a fair process.)
He also urged voters to bring their VIS on election day, encouraging them to use it as a guide for faster and more organized voting.
