Ex-Comelec commissioner Guanzon endorses Querubin for Senate

Independent senatorial candidate Ariel Querubin was personally endorsed by former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner and PWD Partylist nominee Atty. Rowena Guanzon.

According to a statement on Thursday, Guanzon cited Queribin’s integrity and service to the country as reasons for her support of the former Philippine Marine officer.

She added in addition to his roles as a public servant, he was also a “good father and role model.”

“Kaya ko po ineendorso si Ariel Querubin dahil personal ko siyang kilala. Mabuti siyang tao. Hindi lamang siya tapat sa bayan at matapang—mabuti rin siyang ama. Importante po ‘yan sa ating mga pamilya,” Guanzon said in an appearance with Querubin before supporters and members of the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) community on Thursday.

(I am endorsing Ariel Querubin because I personally know him. He is a good person. He is not just honest to the country and brave—he is also a good father. That is important for us families.)

“Isang buhay na bayani ay ating susuportahan sa Senado,” she added.
