2 unidentified bodies found in Rodriguez, Rizal

Two unidentified bodies were found on a roadside in Rodriguez, Rizal, according to the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) on Thursday.

PRO 4A public information office chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Chitadel Gaoiran said the bodies were discovered by a concerned citizen in Sitio Udiongan, Barangay Macabud around 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

“The two bodies were placed in a nylon bag, tied with nylon rope, and their faces were wrapped with duct tape,” Gaoiran said.

According to a report by James Agustin on GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita, the victims were only wearing underwear and their heads were covered in blood.

Barangay head Juanito Catayoc said the victims were not from the area.

Investigators are now conducting an in-depth follow-up investigation for the identification of the victims and the capture of the perpetrators. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
