They were followed by Erwin's brother, broadcaster Ben Tulfo, who got 48% voter preference; former Senate president Tito Sotto with 46%; and reelectionist Senator Bong Revilla with 45%.

Revilla was followed by reelectionist Senator Lito Lapid with 42%, former senator Ping Lacson with 42%, reelectionist Senator Pia Cayetano with 41%, reelectionist Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa with 38%, Makati Mayor Abby Binay with 37%, and Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar with 35%.

Former senator Manny Pacquiao, TV host Willie Revillame, and former Interior secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. followed the ranking with all getting 29% voter preference.

As the survey has ±3 margin of error, the following still have a statistical chance of winning a seat in the Senate: former senator Bam Aquino with 28%, former senator Kiko Pangilinan with 27%, reelectionist Senator Francis Tolentino with 27%, and reelectionist Senator Imee Marcos with 27%.

The OCTA Research survey was non-commissioned and has 95% confidence level.

The study was conducted through face-to-face interviews among 1,200 male and female respondents aged 18 years old and above. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
