A show cause order has been issued to the bus driver's company, Dizon added.
The video recording of the harrowing ride inside the bus went viral as passengers were seen in panic and begging the driver to slow down.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) said Wednesday it has suspended for 90 days the driver's licenses of 671 drivers for getting involved in road crashes and testing positive for illegal drugs.
Of the total number, 547 of the suspended driver's licenses were due to road crashes that resulted in slight physical injuries and even deaths. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
