11-man Makabayan slate asks supporters to choose right 12th person on ballot 

The Makabayan Coalition, which banners an 11-person slate in the senatorial race, asked supporters to choose the rightful candidate to fill up the 12th slot in the ballot come the May 12, 2025 midterm elections. 

Makabayan said that supporters should vote for someone who has the closest vision to their senatorial  bets. 

“Bumoto po tayo ng 12 senador. Ipinapaubaya namin sa aming mga supporters ang pagpili ng ika-12 senador na sana ay pinakamalapit ang pusisyon sa mga isyung tinindigan ng Makabayan at mga partylist nito,” the coalition said in a statement on Friday. 

(Let's vote for 12 senators! We leave it to our supporters to choose the 12th senator who will hopefully be closest to the issues that Makabayan and its partylists stand for.) 

“Tiyakin natin na tunay na kinatawan ng mamamayan ang mahahalal. Sa darating na Mayo 12, manindigan, bumoto at ipanalo ang taumbayan,” it added. 

(Let's ensure that those elected are truly representatives of the people. On May 12, stand up, vote, and make the people win!) 

The Makabayan Coalition’s senatorial lineup is composed of Jerome Adonis, Alyn Andamo, Ronnel Arambulo, Arlene Brosas, Teddy Casiño, France Castro, Mimi Doringo, Mody Floranda, Amirah Lidasan, Liza Maza, and Danilo Ramos. 

Further, the group is also endorsing four progressive party-lists: Kabataan Party-list, ACT-Teachers Party-list, Gabriela Party-list, and Bayan Muna Party-list.
