VP Sara rallies support for PDP Laban bets in Manila sortie
Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday continued to rally support for PDP-Laban's senatorial slate.
During a speech in a campaign sortie in Manila for mayoral candidate Isko Moreno, Duterte said she recently got a call from her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, who she said instructed her to encourage Filipinos to vote for the ten senatorial candidates aligned with the Duterte camp.
The lineup includes Bong Go, Bato dela Rosa, Jimmy Bondoc, Rodante Marcoleta, Philip Salvador, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Atty. JV Hinlo, Atty. Raul Lambino, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, and Dr. Richard Mata.
She emphasized the importance of “block voting” to ensure a unified direction in leadership and avoid political infighting.
The Vice President, meanwhile, also took a jab at the administration bets "Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas."
Earlier, the vice president called on Filipinos to abandon what she described as “bad habits” in choosing leaders, urging them to become more discerning voters in the upcoming elections.
—VAL, GMA Integrated News
