Truck carrying helicopter causes traffic on EDSA

A truck transporting a helicopter left motorists puzzled and caused a traffic jam along EDSA shortly after midnight on Sunday.

According to a report on 24 Oras aired Tuesday, the truck was headed toward EDSA-Muñoz but struggled to pass under the EDSA-Balintawak bridge because the helicopter it was carrying was too tall to fit.

The situation caused congestion on the busy highway as the driver tried to maneuver the vehicle.

A YouScooper who captured the incident on video said the driver eventually decided to take an alternate route to reach his destination. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/DVM, GMA Integrated News
