School where Bongbong Marcos will cast vote for Eleksyon 2025 is "all set"

BATAC CITY, Ilocos Norte - Everything is ready for the midterms elections at the Mariano Marcos Memorial Elementary School, where President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will cast his vote on Monday, May 12.

According to poll watchman Julito Cajudoy, Marcos’ mother, former first lady Imelda Marcos, will also cast her vote at the same polling center.

“All set,” Cajudoy said when asked about the school’s preparations for the polls.

Police officers will also be deployed in the school to ensure the security of the voting process.

Cajudoy said election paraphernalia is expected to arrive at the school early Monday morning at around 3 a.m.

The Philippine Red Cross will also set up a station here to aid voters with their concerns.

Data from GMA News Research showed that Ilocos Norte has 436,087 registered voters for 2025, the lowest among the four provinces in Region I.

The province had the 8th highest voter turnout among provinces in 2022, it added.
