DOJ preparing documents for Interpol red notice request vs. Harry Roque

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is now preparing the documents needed to request the issuance of a red notice against former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque by Interpol, Justice spokesperson Mico Clavano said Tuesday.

Clavano previously said that the warrant of arrest issued against Roque, who is currently seeking asylum in The Netherlands, and others may be coursed through the Interpol and other official diplomatic channels

“We are still preparing the documents needed for an Interpol request for a red notice,” Clavano said in a statement.

However, he said that the DOJ also has other options to consider and is “in the process of identifying the best course of action.”

“In the end, what we want is to give justice to the victims of the qualified trafficking case. Kasama sa trabaho ng gobyerno ang paghanap sa mga sangkot sa krimen at iharap sa husgado,” he said.
