PH Embassy to help OFW affected by missile strikes in Israel

Since her house was damaged by the missile strike, the OFW was transferred to a hotel in Tel Aviv.
The Philippine Embassy said it will send assistance and psychosocial support to support the OFW in the following days.
It also urged Filipinos in the affected areas to evacuate to shelters or other protected spaces whenever there is a missile alert to ensure their safety.
In a Reuters report, Iran and Israel targeted each other with missiles and airstrikes early on Saturday after Israel launched its biggest-ever air offensive against its longtime foe in a bid to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapon.
The attacks have resulted in at least two fatalities and dozens of wounded in Israel.
According to GMA Integrated News reporter JP Soriano, the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv said four other Filipinos were injured due to the ongoing attacks.
The embassy added that it remains on high alert and is actively monitoring the situation to determine if there are additional casualties. —RF, GMA Integrated News
