The School Year 2025-2026 started on Monday, June 16, 2025, in public schools across the country.

Students trooped to their schools early for the flag ceremony and to allow for time to look for their classrooms.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is expecting around 27 million enrollees from preschool to senior high school for School Year 2025 to 2026, Assistant Secretary Jocelyn Andaya said on Saturday.
