PNP chief Torre visits schools, ensures police visibility as SY 2025-2026 opens


Philippine National Police chief Police General Nicolas Torre III visited some schools in Quezon City on Monday as the School Year 2025-2026 opened nationwide.

Torre visited Batasan Hills National High School and President Corazon Aquino Elementary School in the morning to check on the security situation, according to a report by Mark Makalalad of Super Radyo dzBB on Unang Balita.

 

 

 

The PNP chief said the police force is 100% ready for the school opening.

He also gave the assurance that security arrangements are in place to ensure the safety of students.

Torre also met with school principals and administrators as well as students to ask about their situation and concerns.

The PNP has increased police visibility in critical zones in schools.

Torre also ordered commanders to curb street crimes and protect students from any kind of trouble.

He also urged the public to call 911 for any complaint or emergency, and assured them that the police will arrive in five minutes.

The PNP deployed 37,740 police personnel nationwide for the school opening.
