Palace: Gov't shut down 7,000 unauthorized gaming websites
The government has shut down 7,000 unauthorized online gaming websites, Malacañang said on Thursday.
Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro thus said in connection with concerns related to online gaming addiction.
(The problem is that there are numerous illegal gaming websites, and they have already shut down 7,000 of them. The problem is that they resort to creating newer sites.)
Castro was particularly asked about an online game, which she said was offered by a licensed gaming website.
She said that there were measures in place to prevent addiction to such games.
(Let's remember that the government will address this problem, and they will continue to work to eradicate this.) –NB, GMA Integrated News
