Sara Duterte back in PH after Australia trip
Vice President Sara Duterte on Tuesday afternoon returned to Manila following her personal trip to Australia, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) confirmed.
Duterte arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) aboard a Philippine Airlines aircraft at 1:10 p.m., according to the OVP.
She is scheduled to attend the OVP’s annual Pride event in San Fernando City, Pampanga, on Wednesday, June 25.
The Vice President flew to Melbourne at midnight on June 17 and arrived in Australia the following day.
In Melbourne, she joined a rally calling for the release of her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, who is currently detained in The Hague, Netherlands, to face charges of crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court for the extrajudicial killings during his administration's war on drugs. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
