'For sale' sign at former President Rodrigo Duterte's house in Davao removed
The “for sale” sign reportedly posted at the house of former President Rodrigo Duterte in Davao City has been removed, according to a report of Super Radyo Davao read on Super Radyo dzBB.
As of Monday morning, only the standees of Duterte were visible in front of the house’s gate.
Duterte’s common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña reportedly confirmed that the house was up for sale, following the arrest of the former president and his transfer to The Hague, Netherlands.
But volunteers keeping an eye on the house said they did not see any “for sale” sign that was put up and called the viral post on social media “fake news.”
Duterte is currently detained in the Scheveningen Prison in The Hague for charges of crimes against humanity for the extrajudicial killings during his administration’s war on drugs. —Giselle Ombay/KG, GMA Integrated News
