Bongbong, Liza greet Imelda Marcos on 96th birthday

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday greeted his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, who is celebrating her 96th birthday. 

In a social media post, the President shared a collage of his memories with his mother. 

“Your strength, grace and unwavering love continues to guide and inspire us every day.  We are so grateful for you --- now more than ever,” Bongbong said in the caption. 

In a separate post, First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos also extended her well wishes to her Mama Meldy. 

“Your strength and elegance have touched so many lives -- especially ours,” Liza said. 

“Thank you for the love and the quiet courage you continue to share with all of us,” she added. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
