Marcos wants to raise awareness on use of eGov PH app
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. wants to increase awareness on the use of eGov PH Super app to provide easier access on national and local government services.
Marcos made the remark Friday during the launch of EGOV PH Hub in San Juan City.
"Iyon lamang kailangan lang natin ipakalat sa taong-bayan na mayroon nang ganito at subukan nila at gamitin nila," Marcos said in his speech.
(We have to let our countrymen know that we have this app and that they should try to use it.)
The President said government offices and agencies should explain to the public how the application can be utilized.
"Ang aming suggestion ay 'yung lahat ng mga iba't ibang ahensiya kapag sila nasa website dapat alam nila na may ganito. Kapag may dumadating sa opisina, ipaliwanag din o bigyan ng kaunting flyer para ipaliwanag," he said.
(Our suggestion is that all agencies that have websites should know about this service. If a client arrives in an office, their staff should explain or give a flyer that explains the app.)
He said the public no longer needs to go to the hub as they may access government services through the application.
"Actually ang katotohanan, hindi ninyo na kailangan pumunta rito. Basta't mayroon kayong connectivity, may Wi-Fi kayo, ito na lang 'yung gagawin ninyo," Marcos added.
(The truth is you don't need to come here. As long as you have connectivity, a WiFi connection, this is all you need to do.)
The eGov PH Super App, which has more than 13 million users and offers 47 integrated service modules with over 150 million transactions.
The Department of Health announced last week that the prices of medicines may be checked through the eGovPH app.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has also announced that through the eGov PH app, users can download the online system and renew their driver's licenses without going to the agency's offices. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
