Senate trust ratings down, House up in latest Octa survey

The Senate’s trust and performance ratings for the 2nd Quarter of 2025 dipped while the House of Representatives' numbers improved in the latest OCTA research survey released on Tuesday. 

The latest survey showed trust ratings down to 49%, or slightly below the majority, from 57%, while performance approval ratings dropped to 47% from 53%.

 

 

 

 

The House of Representatives, meanwhile, saw improved numbers, with trust increasing to 57% from 49% and performance climbing to 55% from 47%.

A significant number of adult Filipinos noted that they were undecided regarding their trust and satisfaction in the Senate and the House of Representatives.

 

 

 

 

Data for the survey was gathered through face-to-face interviews of 1,200 individuals nationwide from July 12 to 17, 2025.

The survey had a ±3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
